JumpFly continues its commitment to positively impacting the community with its Q3 JumpFly Cares charity initiative. This quarter, the JumpFly team rallied together to support Lemons of Love, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing comfort and care to cancer patients. The results of this endeavor were nothing short of remarkable: a total of $2,946 raised, 50 Chemo Care Boxes filled and donated, and 20 Port Pillows sewn for the benefit of cancer patients at the Sherman Hospital Cancer Center.

By partnering with Lemons of Love, a charity that provides emotional support and care packages to individuals undergoing cancer treatment, JumpFly was able to impact the lives of those in need directly.
The $2,946 raised during this campaign will go a long way in helping Lemons of Love continue its vital work. These funds will be used to support the creation and distribution of Chemo Care Boxes, which contain items designed to provide comfort and ease the journey of cancer patients. The boxes often include essentials like hard candies for dry mouth, lotion and skin care products, cozy superhero socks, and other thoughtful items that can bring a smile to a patient’s face during a challenging time.
JumpFly employees also rolled up their sleeves and contributed their time and skills to pack 50 Chemo Care Boxes, which were subsequently donated to the Sherman Hospital Cancer Center. These care packages will undoubtedly provide solace and support to patients in their battle against cancer.
In addition to the Chemo Care Boxes, JumpFly’s team members showed their creative side by sewing 20 Port Pillows. These specially designed pillows alleviate discomfort for patients who have undergone port surgeries, which are common in cancer treatment. These simple yet effective pillows can significantly impact a patient’s recovery and overall comfort. Useful after every chemo treatment, these port pillows slide over the car seatbelt so that the seatbelt doesn’t press or rub and cause more pain.

Lemons of Love was created in 2014 when Jill Swanson was diagnosed with colon cancer. As she began chemotherapy, a friend gave Jill a small gift with items to help her through treatment. Inspired, Jill began her own little lemonade project of filling and sharing thoughtfully selected items with others in treatment.
Today, Lemons of Love is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that delivers care packages to hospitals and oncology centers and provides personalized care packages for individuals with a donation. We offer free programs for anyone impacted by cancer at our Mount Prospect, Illinois location and provide one-on-one family support at our building in Plymouth, Wisconsin. Both locations allow us to welcome our community to support our mission.
